What has happened since the tax rebate ended on April 30, 2010.
In our local market, Rock County, Wisconsin, the number of sales per day dropped from over 8 to less than 4. Definitely, a 50% drop in new offers being accepted.
However, on a positive note, average sale prices in April increased for the first time in a long time.
The next 12 months will tell the story.
