HOME SELLERS - 2010 Is Your Year!
December 15th, 2009 4:12 PM

While 2009 was probably the worst real estate year in recent history, 2010 promises to be much better.

If you are thinking of selling, there are 5 Good Reasons to get started right now!

1.  Interest rates are still low and help make Housing affordable for Buyers.

2.  The First Time Buyer credit of $8000 has been extended to April 30, 2010.  The price of the home can be as high as $800,000.  The income limits for the Buyers has been increased.

3.  The First Time Buyer credit has been extended to existing home owners that have owned and occupied their current or recently sold home in the amount $6500.  That just may get you a buyer who wants to move up or down.  Also, if you sell yours and are buying another, The $6,500 would be a nice gift for you.

4.  Inventory levels are actually low in many areas, including ours in South Central Wisconsin.  There is less competition from other sellers right now!

5.  Prices have bottomed out and appear to be rising in many areas!

The only reason for not buying a home or other real estate right now show be that you do not qualify for financing.

With interest rates lower than 5%, a First Time Tax Credit of $8000 and an existing Homeowner credit of $6500 coupled with lower prices, everyone who can afford to buy real estate, should be buying now.

Hey Janesville, Wisconsin and Rock County - What's it worth Today!
December 7th, 2009 2:25 PM

Most people today are interested in how the market has affected their property values.

Sales prices have obviously retreated a little in the last two years, but certain price ranges and locations have not been affected as much as you might think.

If you are at all curious about the value of your property and how the financial crisis has affected it, just give me a phone call, text or email and I would be happy to give you an update.

There is no obligation.

Thanks, you are greatly appreciated!
